1991 was only two as well so plenty scope for a summer volume Thanks! Thought it might have been, as NOW21 came out well into 1992 (my Mum thought about getting it for me, as I turned 21 around that time!). Something to work on in the future...

And there's also Now 6.5 - say beginning of April 1986 but Hits 4 would have nabbed some of the field.

Made some minor tweaks to my earlier Inbetweener NOWs To Be With You Again (included on NOW10) has been replaced by Time Will Crawl. Which works better anyway. The Heat Is On (included on OUT NOW) has been replaced by an edit of So Far Away.

Now 4.5 and Now 9.5 now on my iTunes - absolutely cracking selections and flow. Have used MP3 Gain at a db of 90 so no clipping - nice old skool uncompressed '80s sounding CD.
Will burn to CD once I get some discs. I have a very old friend whom I see once a year, usually in the summer. Invariably we end up talking about 80s chart music - he will love these.

High praise indeed from you! Still collecting tracks for my 19.5. Will be very interested to see what makes 19.5 We're halfway there.... COMPACT DISC 1 Baby Baby [NOW! Edit] Amy Grant 3:31 Word Of Mouth Mike + The Mechanics 3:56 The Whole Of The Moon The Waterboys 5:04 Monsters & Angels Voice Of The Beehive 3:38 Twist and Shout Deacon Blue 3:37 Cold, Cold Heart Midge Ure 4:08 * All This Time [Edit] Sting 4:01 Let There Be Love [7" Mix] Simple Minds 4:45 * Whenever You Need Me [Single Version] T'Pau 4:19 Cover My Eyes (Pain And Heaven) Marillion 3:55 I Touch Myself Divinyls 3:44 Sexuality Billy Bragg 3:52 Get The Message [Single Remix] Electronic 3:51 Walking Down Madison Kirsty MacColl 4:39 Right Here, Right Now Jesus Jones 3:10 Love Rears Its Ugly Head [Soulpower Hip Hop Mix] Living Colour 4:07 * Kiss Them For Me Siouxsie & The Banshees 4:29 It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over Lenny Kravitz 4:05 By the time of NOW19 and NOW20, the tracklistings get longer with more than 30/32 tracks in total. And the vinyl edition becomes less important. The running times for CD1 and CD2 of NOW20, for instance, are 70 and 74 minutes. So CD1 of 19.5 totals 72 minutes. "In order to facilitate" a vinyl format, the tracks with an * are only on the CD version...

Have to say I really enjoyed putting that together...1991 music is still in my era of when I loved it the most. I don't listen to 90s, even early 90s, as much as the 80s these days, but I probably should do.

Divinyls to Living Colour - seriously great flow. Curious for CD2; will we see anything from Prince Of Tides?

I've not thought about CD2 much yet...other than there being about 26 potential tracks that I put on the longlist.
That run on CD1 was a classic case of how making the decisions "live" can be the best way. I don't think I'd have considered those tracks in that order just looking at them on a page.
