Played the first few songs on CD1. Sounds really nice. No volume disparity and decent masterings used (so far). My reverie was disturbed when I realised I'd missed the 1983 episode of Channel 5's Favourite Songs of the 80s series.

Looking forward to feedback and reports on the first of the NOW Yearbook releases. I must have all the 1983 tracks at least once, but you never know what mixes and edits lurk amongst the tracklistings of these things...or what horrors!

I have turned my NOW 19.5 playlist into a full-blown blog article. Needed something to ease me back into posting after such a long break.
Plus it coincides with the TOTPs currently showing on BBC4, and the Amy Grant 30th Ann. of Heart In Motion out today!

More "inbetweener" NOW posts... this time the missing link between 6 and 7....that would/could have been released at Easter 1986.
As I've only been creating these for years when the NOW series skipped a volume during the calendar year, there aren't too many more left to imagine. Since NOW 20, they've slipped into a regular pattern of 3 per year.
There's a 17.5 and a 2.5 which I have had in the can for a while.
